1KBWC Event

Several readers have expressed an interest in playing 1,000 Blank White Cards. It sounds pretty sweet to me, too, so I’ll host. If you are interested please post a comment indication when you’re available. The rest of this week isn’t very good for me; I would suggest the evenings of Sunday 7/1, Wednesday 7/4, or Thursday 7/5.
(I ordered some cards from some educational site. 50 blank cards cost $1.50 if you’re a teacher or $7.50 if you’re a magician or hustler… go figure. If they’re not here in time, we’ll use index cards. I ordered a whole frickin’ bunch because I can also use them for other games…)
GK and I would like to play. Sunday after 1:00 works best, but we can do Wed too. Tuesday is bad for us.
Count me in. Weekdays bad, Weekends good. I actually think that all I did yesterday (mentally) was think of cards for this.
See, I was taught that to play the game all you need are blank white index cards cut in half, a bunch of pens or markers or crayons or whatever else would mark a card (one friend used lipstick) and some wacky good times.
White does not begin with the letter Y. I suggest blaming SAYC for the confusion.
Alatar is completely right, as usual. Fixed.
(The initial title of this article had “1KBYC.” I was mixing my acronyms of !KBWC with SAYC, Standard American Yellow Card, which is the bridge convention I play.)
